James (Jim) Burk passed away at his home in North Royalton at the age of 61. Loving father of Danielle Herron (Tristian), grandfather to Nova Grace. Jim is preceded in death by his father Donald Burk (Patricia) and mother Helen Burk. He is also survived by his sister Karen.

Jim was an avid fan of NASCAR and all Cleveland sports. He was a hard worker and loved his family very much. Becoming a grandfather made him so happy and he was very proud of that. He lit up when Nova was around and you could see how much he loved her.

Jim was a simple man. His favorite thing to do was to hang out with friends and relax with a cold beer. He battled with quite a few health issues and he still remained in good spirits through it all. Jim was a great father and was quite the jokester.

Jim never liked being the center of attention and per his wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of a funeral, I ask that you have a cold one in his honor. He’d want you to celebrate his life, rather than mourn his death.
