I’m so sorry you are gone, Uncle Dub. I wish we had more time to reconnect. I will always miss you, but I think your military service and the fact that you are with your brothers in arms is a great testament to your life! I love you!
Dear Uncle Dub, You will always be the man, the myth and the great legend in my life. I miss you beyond words and I will always cherish the memories of you. During your absence in my life, mom kept your presence alive, you were never forgotten and I think you realized that after we found you again and seeing how surprised you were when I said I love you. Rest easy Uncle Dub, you are free. I will love you always.
Mr. Elliot (or Mr. E as he was known to me) was one of my favorite patients at the VA. I remember when I first met him in 2021 as a new employee, he gave me a run for my money when we first met, but we became friends despite everything. I was so heartbroken to hear of his illness and passing, but I’m glad he is at peace, and that he was able to reconnect with his loved ones before he left us. I prayed for that. Rest easy Mr. E, you will never be forgotten.
