April 3, 1962 – August 12, 2026
Diana “Dee Dee” Neely, 64, passed away on August 12, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, cherished memories, and many people whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing her.
Dee Dee was a loving mother, grandmother, cousin, aunt, and friend. Above all, family held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her loving sons, Michael Neely of Lorain, Ohio, and Eric Neely (Tabatha Wetzel) of Greenville, Virginia.
Her beloved grandsons, Ryder and Kyson Neely, were truly the light of her life. Being their grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness, and the love and pride she had for them could be felt by everyone who knew her.
Dee Dee is also survived by her dear friend and cousin, Cyndi Wixson; her niece, Janet Wixson; and many other treasured family members and friends whom she greatly adored.
Dee Dee had a special love for butterflies, a beautiful reflection of the joy, beauty, and gentle spirit she carried with her. Butterflies held a meaningful place in her heart and will forever serve as a special reminder of her to those who loved her.
For many years, Dee Dee received care at The Heights Healthcare Center, where the staff became much more than caregivers. She deeply adored and appreciated the staff members who oversaw her care throughout the years. During her time there, she formed many meaningful friendships and bonds, and her family is forever grateful to those who cared for her, supported her, laughed with her, and became an important part of her life.
Dee Dee will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the relationships she treasured, and the lasting place she holds in the hearts of her family and friends. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on through all those fortunate enough to have known her.
A Celebration of Life honoring Dee Dee will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at:
Valley View Town Hall
6828 Hathaway Road
Valley View, Ohio 44125
Family and friends are invited to gather together to celebrate Dee Dee’s life, share memories, and honor a woman who was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
May the sight of a butterfly always bring a gentle reminder that Dee Dee’s love and memory remain close to us.
