MILLAR, PATRICIA ANN
PATRICIA ANN MILLAR (nee Ottman), born February 12, 1929 peacefully died on June 13, 2012. She was the beloved daughter of Louise (Miller) and Charles Ottman, Sr. Cherished, loved and respected mother of John Jr., M. Susan Henderson (Royce) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Karen Stantial (Douglas) of Atlanta, Georgia, Pam, and Mark (deceased). Grandmother to Justin, Ryan and Tyler Henderson, Sara (Aaron) Archambeau and Kate (Liam) Fanning. Sister of Charles (deceased) (Noreen), Michael (deceased) (Peg) and Thomas (Beverly). Pat grew up in University Heights and graduated from Beaumont School for Girls. She was employed as a secretary before her true calling of a wife and mother. Fully involved in all aspects of her children’s lives, she was especially remembered for her volunteer work at St. Margaret Mary School. After the children were grown, she continued with her selfless volunteering at the Westerly Independent Living Apartments in Lakewood, where she was a resident for over 20 years. Pat volunteered in the library, the Hodge Podge, the convenience store and could always be counted on to assist with their many special events. She was a faithful participant in the evening games and was known for her organization of the pinochle night. Additionally,throughout her life she found fulfillment in her bowling teams, crafts, vacationing and visiting with her children, reading, daily crossword puzzles and watching game shows. Pat was a devoted Indians fan who refused to miss a game. Throughout her life Pat proved herself to be witty, wise, strong-willed, feisty and her strength demonstrated during her four bouts with cancer was unparalleled. She had a sarcastic sense of humor which amused her family and friends. Pat was a devout Catholic, a prayer warrior and she relied on her special connection to St. Jude. The family is indebted to Moll Cancer Pavilion (Dr. Peter Rose), Crestmont North Skilled Nursing Facility (especially Karen and Alexis), Lakewood Hospital and Dr. Peter Erossy for their skill, compassion and consideration. Donations can be made in Patricia’s name to Moll Cancer Pavilion, 18200 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland 44111. Funeral Mass 10 a.m., Monday, June 25, St. Luke Church, 1212 Bunts Road, Lakewood.
