KERMIT SCHAEFER, 89, passed away September 25, 2012. Beloved husband of Caryl (nee Fitch) for 65 years, loving father of the late Nancy. He enlisted in the Marine Corp. at age 19, Purple Heart recipient, action Okinawa (wounded), New Guinea and Cape Gloucestor. Owner of Champion Sports in Medina for 25 years. Member of the National Clock-Watch and many other associations. Brother of Dolores and the late Beatrice, Almira, Adelbert, Joseph and Quinton, loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Private services were held.
