Douglas Charles Buell, 67, of Northfield, went home to be with the Lord June 8th, 2025. Proceeded in death by his mother, Vilma M. Buell (Nee Lenese) and father, Douglas Baker Buell. He is survived by his sisters Shirley Crowe (Nee Buell) and Carol (Gene) Brian; children Stephanie, Aimee (Marty), Jennifer (David), and Douglas (Jennifer); grandchildren Anna, Jeremy, Claudia, Mason, Victoria, Gavin and Logan.

Doug was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, taking trips on his Harley whenever he could. He had many accomplishments in his life including 10 years driving with Greyhound, and numerous mechanic jobs. He was always willing to help someone. Active in AA for 19 years, his story helped countless others seek their own paths. While he had many things he loved in life, nothing meant more to him than his children and grandchildren, and his husky, Lady.

Keeping with Doug’s giving spirit, his remains will be donated to Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) so memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Poem: Forever Alive in your Heart I am not truly gone if you keep me in your heart. I’ll forever be alive, and we’ll never have to part.
