James Oliver Burton of Broadview Heights, Ohio, age 81, passed away peacefully on August 16th, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with heart disease. A proud US Air Force veteran, James was born in California, Pennsylvania and moved to Ohio in his twenties. Ohio has been his home ever since. He was the director of Manufacturing Research and Development at Richman Brothers heading the laser cutting technology for cutting suit fabrics. He holds two patents in the field of fabric laser cutting. He also worked in healthcare Information technology and retired from Marymount hospital. His true vocation has always been Science and Engineering. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Myrtle Burton (nee D’cruz), his sons James Edward Burton and Christopher Jon Burton. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Respecting his wishes, funeral services are private. We are blessed that he enriched our lives.
