Jerry “Jay” Wayne Hager passed away on September 6th, 2023, at the age of 34. Born on May 16th, 1989, in Beckley, West Virginia, he was the cherished son of Virginia Hager and Richard Persinger; loving father to Aria (Austin) Rose Hager and Jerry Wayne Hager Jr.; beloved brother of John Hager (Katy), Terri Mangeri (Steve), Robert Ferrell, Tammy Self (Tim), Rick Persinger (Wendy), Benji Persinger (Linda), and Jeremy Persinger. He was a dear uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to many. Throughout his life, Jay demonstrated an unwavering commitment to making others smile, and would go to great lengths to help anyone in need. He had the ability to find humor in even the most challenging situation. Jay’s kindness knew no bounds. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends, family, and even strangers. KENNETH G. SEIDLITZ, age 76, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and the son of George and Carol Seidlitz. Ken is survived by his cherished wife of 31 years Cathy (nee Payne), and his loving children Dawn Messuri, Colleen Hurst, and Jason Seidlitz, and beloved grandchildren Vincent, and Liam. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Brook Park in 2013. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. BERGEN, EDWARD

Edward J. Bergen,  65, of Cleveland passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. He was the son of the late Edward D. Bergen and Marie (Tice) Bergen.   Born in Lebanon on September 17, 1957. He was a 1975 graduate of Lebanon High School. He loved the outdoors and had some favorite fishing holes. He was quite the story teller and had some published locally. He had a love of cooking and would take over the kitchen creating a special meal when visiting. He spent his later years managing homes for those in need while in Cleveland.  He is survived by siblings: Kevin Bergen (Diane), Kathleen Spigelmyer (Daniel), Pamela Auman (David), James Bergen (Sharon), Julie Bergen (Thomas Boyer); nieces and nephews: Thomas Bergman, Jennifer Stine, Jonathan, Samantha and Tyler Bergen, Heather and Shannon Boyer, Daniel Spigelmyer Jr., and Mariah King. A Celebration of Life will be announced by family.

Gail Lynn Evanoff, 56, of Olmsted Falls, OH passed away peacefully, while holding her mother’s hand, the evening of Wednesday, August 2, 2023. She was born in Cleveland, OH, Aug. 22, 1966, a daughter of Dorothy Hyatt-Bell and Steve Evanoff (deceased). She grew up in Lakewood, OH and later moved to Kansas where she attended Kansas University. Gail is survived by her devoted mother Dorothy Hyatt-Bell, her two loving brothers Scott Evanoff and Ronnie Bell and her daughter Josie Wilkens, along with her many loving family and friends. Gail had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed until we see her in heaven. Sizemore, Joann M., Age 57. Joann lost her battle with cancer on July 12, 2023. Mother of Franklin Edvon (Heather); Symfene Sizemore-Edvon. Grandmother of Julian Edvon. Sister to Judy Fulkerson (Michael) and Jacqueline Ramos (Joseph). Aunt and Great Aunt of many nieces and nephews. CAROLINE PALMENTERA (60) born on October 13, 1962 passed away peacefully on June 29, 2023. Caroline was the loving mother of Harley and beloved daughter of the late Paul and Julia. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Paul, Dolores, Joseph, Ross, and Anthony. She is survived by her son and siblings Rose, Sarah, Theresa, Paula, and Anna. She was a cherished sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many. Caroline was a woman of strong faith who prayed frequently for many. She loved listening to music, spending time around animals, and long conversations reminiscing with loved ones. She could be found at every family event, camera in hand, capturing memories of the moments she cherished. Her laugh was contagious and she often brought joy to those around her. She will be missed dearly and remembered for all of the love she shared with her friends and family. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday July 15th, 2023 at Saint Michael Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Cleveland, Ohio.

Born on December 18th, 1959 passed away peacefully on June 30, 2023. Son of Arline Taylor (deceased) step son of Mark Taylor (deceased). Cherished father of Angelica Hammond (deceased), Stephanie Parker and Brittany Parker. Dear husband of 42 years to Barbara Parker. Grandfather of three. Brother to Robert Parker (Shellie), Cathy Kaselak (Edward), Tony Parker, Janet Wojtala (Don), Joseph Parker. Uncle and friend to many. He loved his family, flea markets, garage sales and motorcycles. If he wasn’t doing one of those things he loved to gamble. He was the best Macgyver. If he couldn’t fix it nobody could. Jon spent many years helping people, working hard and fishing on the lake. His infectious smile, sense of humor and ability to make you laugh will be cherished forever. A celebration of life will be held at the Lantern Center for Recovery (12160 Triskett road, Cleveland, oh 44111). August 5th at 1pm followed by refreshments.
