Our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend, Norma “Faith” Chaney, entered eternal rest on January 30, 2025 after a short illness. She was 86.

She leaves behind a devoted husband, Nathaniel (aka: “Nate”), loving son Troy (Wife: Meghan), cherished grandchildren (Thyra, Emilio, Gabriel, and Elizabeth), as well as many nieces, nephews & close friends.

Married for 58 years, Norma was a force of nature with an ability to make all feel welcome. As a grandmother, she made sure all her grand-kids felt special and taught them to always gave their ‘all’. This was best reflected in one of her favorite sayings: “…never let it rest, ‘til your good is better and your better is best!”

She spent her career caring for others in Northeast Ohio as a Registered Nurse, inspiring many loved ones to enter and excel in that field. She was known for her raucous laugh, sharp intellect, generosity, and amazing crocheting & cooking skills. A true live wire, she always seemed to have boundless energy and her presence filled a room, despite her small frame.

She was the courageous heart and vibrant soul of our family, and will be dearly missed.

At Norma & Nate’s request, there will be no immediate public services. In the Spring, we will host a Memorial gathering in celebration of her life and journey home.
We will keep you posted on dates/times. Until then, raise a glass in her honor and enjoy every moment with your loved ones.
