I had the privilege of knowing Ron during his time as a UPS package car mechanic. Every day, he’d greet me with his signature warmth: “Hello, sweetie” followed by “How’s your day going?” Ron’s gentle demeanor, bright smile, and infectious laugh could light up even the toughest days.

Though my homemade baked goods might not have helped his health, Ron never complained. Despite the stresses of his job, he tackled every challenge with courage and determination. His love for his sons, Brian and Kevin, was evident in the way he spoke about them. Ron also cherished his hobbies – playing with his dogs, hunting, fishing, and cruising in his GTO with classic rock playing – which brought him immense joy.

Ron had a gift for turning my worst days into better ones. I always looked forward to our conversations, which inevitably left me smiling. He often spoke fondly of Brian, saying we had much in common, and hoped we’d meet someday. During his battle with cancer, I had the chance to connect with Brian, and we were honored to be by Ron’s side until the end.

Ron, I’ll always cherish the memories we made. May you watch over us and rest in heavenly peace. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy lives on through the countless lives you touched.

    I love you my friend♡
