Darla Gene Evert, age 55, passed away in her Valley City home on the morning of Sunday, October 6th, 2019.
She was born to Towny Hawk and Richard Evert on October 10th, 1963. She was a nurturing daughter and caring older sister to 3 brothers, Ricky, Danny, and Dwayne. She was also a devoted, loving mother to Rikki Gene Evert and proud grandmother to Yara Gene.

Darla was an animal whisperer and dedicated her life to raising and rescuing animals. From horses to chihuahuas and all sizes in between, she truly had a passion for animals and was a healer at heart.

She was a trusted friend to many; her life will be celebrated on Sunday, November 10th, 2019 at LETHA HOUSE WEST, 5800 Richman Road. Spencer, Ohio 44275 from 1 to 8 pm.
