LINDA MARIE GEIGER, RN, MSN, CCM, CRRN age 73. Linda went to Heaven to be with her parents on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Carl F. Geiger; dear mother of Michelle Switka (Joseph-deceased) and Ruth Lasecki (David); adoring grandmother of Lily, Isabella and Nicholas; loving sister of Mary Louise (David); dear sister-in-law of David, Joseph (Marge), Ray (Ruth), and Dennis (Belinda-deceased); cherished aunt of Kara, Kendra, Kevin, Gary, Matthew, Jodi, Jeffrey, and Desiree; great aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Linda was born on October 9, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Nicholas and Elena (Carette) D’Ambrosia. She was a graduate of Regina High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Francis School of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. Linda married Carl on November 26, 1966, in Cleveland and had two daughters, Michelle and Ruth. She took great pride in her career as a Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing. Linda also had an entrepreneurial spirit, owning several businesses including a Home Healthcare Agency, Nurse Staffing Company and Healthcare Consulting Business. She valued education and continued to earn advanced degrees and certifications in Nursing and Health Science throughout her lifetime.
Linda truly cared about everyone and would always listen and offer advice to family, friends, and colleagues. She loved her family and friends dearly, and was known for her boundless generosity, grace, and kind heart. She will be truly missed by the many people that love her, but she will remain in our hearts forever.
A Mass to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, October 13th at 10:00am at Our Lady Chapel, Gilmour Academy, 34001 Cedar Road, Gates Mills, Ohio 44044. A reception will immediately follow at the Gilmour Academy Lower School, 35001 Cedar Road.
