“Germaine Markuzic-Fiske, 70, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2025.
Germaine was born April 10, 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio and grew up in Sheffield Lake, Ohio where she graduated from Brookside High School in 1973. Germaine met Lee P. Fiske in 1981 and they married in 1992. In middle school, Germaine started working as a scorekeeper, in exchange for free games, at her local bowling alley where she found her love of the game. She carried that love throughout her life and continued to bowl in leagues with her children up until her passing.
Above all else, Germaine was a mother first. She loved her kids immensely and always made herself available in times of need. For 15 years, Germaine was a school crossing guard where she enjoyed watching all the kids grow up, not just her own. She was a very active grandparent, attending every game and social event, and took every opportunity to spend time with her granddaughter.
Remaining to cherish Germaine’s memory is her spouse, Lee; children, Giselle, Madden, Reilly; granddaughter, Madison; and brother, Rex. Preceding Germaine in death were her parents, William and Gizella Markuzic.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, details will be forthcoming. “

Germaine was such a wonderful person. I remember our days with being active with the boy scouts, with our sons Madden and Mark. We got to be good friends, she will certainly be missed by many. Rest In Peace Germaine.
