Daniel Martin McDonald
11/04/1977- 08/27/2026

Danny, 48, passed Aug 27th after a lifelong battle with Type 1 Diabetes. He fought with strength & courage & is no longer in pain.
He grew up on a farm in Columbia Station, Ohio, attended Holy Name High School & went on to become a third generation Local 17 Ironworker, aka “Wolf”. He enjoyed cooking, Notre Dame football, going to the casino & knew more Bible passages than any of us heathens. His daughter Faith, his “pumpkin” was the blessing of his life & she brought him such joy & comfort, especially the last few years he was so ill. If he had one piece of advice to give, it would be to never take your health for granted.  One of his favorite sayings was “Time, the subtle thief of youth” ~ Milton 

Danny is survived by his loving daughter Faith, dear friend Dawn, his parents James & Maureen, in addition to siblings Sean, Tom, Megan, Jim & Terry.
