Sandra (Edwards) Perry passed on to be with God January 28, 2025. With family at her side, she was at peace, and in comfort. A beautifully selfless and strong human being, she spent her life continually searching for how she could help others. She was an incredible mother and loving wife. She is survived by her son Matthew Means, daughter-in-law Amanda (Ashyk) Means, niece Kellie (Jeff) Stultz, caring step-children, as well as many other loving in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve, parents Lois and Roy Edwards, and younger sister Donna Parten.
Sandie was born and raised in Lorain, Ohio. She moved to Elyria, Ohio in 1980 and eventually to Norwalk, Ohio in 1994. After graduating from Lorain High School in 1965, the majority of her career was spent at Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin, Ohio for 20-plus years, and as a business owner for the remaining 24 years before retiring. She spent much of her life helping others. A short list of her efforts included: The Center for the Sightless, Salvation Army, Huron County Board of Election service, her high school reunion committee, fostering for hundreds of homeless animals, and unmeasurable help for others in their time of need.
Her hobbies included the Car Coddlers classic car club, fishing, bowling, following the Cleveland Guardians, caring for and showing alpacas in competition, and cooking for others. She received great happiness spending time with her close friends Candy and Marilyn.
There will be a small graveside service for family and very close friends.
Sandie lived her life in honor of God, and will be laid to rest at: Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 N. Ridge Rd., Amherst, Ohio, 44001.

Sandie,
We had a wonderful journey for the last 43 years. Sad that it was cut short.
Matt and Mandi,
Thank you for letting me be a part of Sandies final year.
My condolences to both of you and God bless.
Love,
Candy Villa
