According to Bill Carmody, in my class Anthony introduced himself by saying, “My name is Place. I play the bass.” May music accompany you Anthony.

I had the good fortune to have Anthony in class during his freshman or sophomore year at Medina High School. He often came in during his study hall for extra help. I loved those times working him one-on-one. He had a wonderful quiet wry sense of humor. When his tutor convinced him that he didn’t need to take a foreign language and that he should drop my class, it left a little hole in my heart. I was so saddened to hear of his death. I will always remember him with fondness.

My husband and I knew Anthony through his business and our daughter graduated from high school with him. Anthony was a dedicated professional when it came to his work. We grew to know Anthony and appreciated his quiet thoughtful manner. We are saddened by his sudden passing and will miss him very much.
