Norman G. Rehark, Jr. (Norm) died unexpectedly on Nov. 8, 2023 in Westlake, Ohio where he lived for more than forty years. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 20, 1941 to the late Norman Rehark, Sr. and Elizabeth (nee Durk) Rehark.

He lived most of his life in northeastern Ohio with part of his childhood spent in Mayville, New York. He was a master plumber, having graduated from Lakewood High School and Max Hayes Vocational School.

He was a talented wood carver and delighted in giving away many carvings. He also made several metal sculptures as well as wood sculptures.

He also enjoyed gardening and camping. With his family, he went on camping vacations to places around the United States, but mostly to Northern Minnesota where he enjoyed fishing, boating, and canoeing.

He was a loving, caring, kind person with a great sense of humor. He leaves behind his wife of nearly fifty six years, Christine (nee Lanner), his sons Erik and Michael, daughter-in-law Ann (nee West), grandchildren Hunter and Hallie, brother Jeffrey and numerous other relatives.

There will be a memorial service with reception to follow on December 30th at 11:00 at West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church, 20401 Hilliard Blvd., Rocky River, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts may be considered to be donated to various causes to be decided by his family members.

    Was such a great person. He brought a lot of happiness ,laughter and joy into my life. It made my day to see Norm & Chris for breakfast. He was always so happy to be there to hear me, help & listen.I will miss him dearly & I will never forget him.
