Dorothy Elaine Slaughter, 71 of Eastlake Ohio passed away peacefully at home with family on December 27th, 2023. She was born in Dalton GA on November 4th, 1952 to Arthell Campbell and Dorothy Hughes,

Her first job was at an A&W rootbeer stand at 15yo and she went on to hold many other positions in industry and healthcare. Her True love was her love for Jesus, her church, and her family.She was the Sunday school superintendent at Aspinwall Church for many years and was able to touch endless hearts of children across our city, This is the work she found most fulfilling. She is remembered by those who knew her as a sweet, kind and godly soul. She was angel on earth who has now gained her heavenly reward.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband James and survived by her Children James (Marilyn) & Candice. Grandchildren, Christopher, Alayna, James, Jordan,Alan,Cole,Alison & Alyssa. Great grand children, Jaxxon, Kade & Colton, who will always remember and thank her for her endless love, prayers and her example of a Christ centered life.

Family will receive visitors Tuesday January 2nd, 5pm-7pm with a celebration of life service to begin at 7pm at Aspinwall Church, 14627 Aspinwall Ave, Cleveland Ohio 44110
