Madeline Belle Sommer was a brave and beautiful 13yr old girl.

Born on the 4th of July her bright and colorful personality brought joy into our world.

Maddie was always independent, fierce, confident and unapologetically her.

Through her short life she faced many trials including nearly dying at birth, a kidney transplant, mental health struggles and her last and final battle with a rare and aggressive cancer (Hepatosplenic TCell Lymphoma).

Through it all and with God’s help she kept fighting, kept going and always took each day in stride.

She loved her family (Ron, Rachael and brother Ezekiel), her precious kitties (Binx and Leon), thrill seeking at Cedar Point, traveling to national parks with her family, rock climbing, swimming, watching true crime documentaries with her mom and horror movies with her dad, she loved all types of animals even snakes, frogs and lizards but especially cats !

Maddie was a loyal and great friend, loving big sister and a beautiful spirit with a strong sense of justice. She was caring for her family and others up until the very end.

We will miss her dearly but are glad that she is no longer in pain and wait for the day we can see her again in heaven. We would love for those who loved her to share their memories and tributes with Maddie here.
