Judith K. Zetts (nee, Anderson), (Aunt Judie), beloved Aunt, Stepmother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, at the age of 85.  She was born on October 26, 1940, and was a proud graduate of Independence High School in Ohio, Class of 1958.

Throughout her working life, she held positions primarily as a secretary and bookkeeper, bringing her intelligence, dedication, and wonderful sense of humor to everything she did.

She spent 30 years living in Florida before recently returning to Ohio, where she was lovingly cared for by and shared a home with her two nieces.  She was a motherly presence not only to her nieces, Wendy and Lisa, and her nephew, Steven, but also to many others who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband, Andrew R. Zetts, her parents, Clarence and Amelia Anderson, (nee, Gburzynski), her Sister Carol L. Cornell and brother-in-law, Howard H. Cornell.  She remained a cherished Aunt, stepmother to Andy’s Children and a step-grandmother and step-great-grandmother to their families.

She had a creative and artistic spirit and found joy in many things.  She loved the theater, art, museums, music, reading, antiques, needlework, traveling, and spending time in Florida.  She enjoyed playing the keyboard and had a special love for gardening.  Her plants were a source of great pride and happiness, and she took tremendous care in helping them grow.

But perhaps nothing brought her more joy than her Maltese puppies.  Over the years, she lovingly welcomed several Maltese into her life, treating each one as a treasured member of her family.  They brought her endless companionship, laughter, and love.

She was funny, artistic, independent, and full of personality.  She had a way of making people laugh and a gift for finding enjoyment in the little things.  And, true to her own style, she enjoyed ending her evenings with glass of wine before bedtime.

She was one of a kind, and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Her memory will live on in the stories we tell, the laughter she shared, the gardens she tended, the music she played, and the love she gave so freely.

No Visitation.  She will be interned at Maple Shade Cemetery in Independence, Ohio during a Private Ceremony.
