Foutz, Jean

Jean Marie Foutz, aged 67, passed away on September 23, 2024, in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on October 27, 1956, Jean graduated from Berea High School in 1975. Jean proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years, retiring from duty aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. Her dedication to her country and her service were commendable and honored by her fellow servicemen and women. Jean is survived by her sister, Barbara Schroeder (Dennis); nephew, Max Schroeder (Morgan); niece, Molly Stillman (Denny); and her great nieces and nephew, Josephine and Nora Stillman, and Lily and Jed Schroeder. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard E. Foutz; mother, Mary Ann Foutz (Kane); sisters, Linda Sue Foutz and Mary Ellen Foutz; and brother, Richard E. Foutz Jr. Respecting her wishes, Jean was cremated and will be buried alongside her brother Richie. Services will remain private, with plans for a memorial gathering to be announced at a later date.

Murray, Darin

Darin Douglas Murray age 67, passed away on September 12, 2024 in Parma, Ohio. Born December 31, 1956 in Cleveland, OH, and passed away September 12, 2024 in Parma, OH. He was the beloved son of Kenneth W. Murray (deceased) and Audrey E. Murray. He will be deeply missed by his older brother Kevin (Lydia DeGeorge) of Bay Village, Ohio, and his younger brother Justin (Angela) of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. His nieces and nephews: Melanie, Mercedes, Tony, Ian, Nashika, Emerson, Mariah, Kiira, Justin Jr., Madison, Keelan, Orion, and Asia will miss hearing of his antics. He also leaves behind 15 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece. Darin was the consummate salesman. If you purchased shoes or furniture in the last five decades, in the Cleveland vicinity, he could have been your salesman. He was a funny guy, and could make you laugh during the solemnest of occasions. Darin enjoyed fast cars in his youth, and classic cars in his later age. He had an extensive collection of lighters. He loved being retired. There will be a celebration of his life in the near future.

Sue Ann David, Age 65 passed away on Wednesday September 18th. Sue was preceded in death by the love of her life Tim Blatnica. Beloved mother to William Blatnica, cherished daughter to Walter and Mary David (deceased), loving sister to Tom David (Wendy deceased) Laura Scherer (Michael) Mary Karn(James) and Deborah Murray (Robert). Beloved Aunt to Kacey, Kendal, Kelsey, Kyler, and Kolton, Great Aunt to Rhyse, Zoey, and Teddy. Most beloved fur aunt to Mongo, Mayhem, and Maryalice. Sue was loved by all. Sue will be cremated per her wishes and no services will be held, Sue will be laid to rest with Tim at a later date.

Pamela Prah Verbofsky, age 62, passed away on September 14, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Donna and Joe Prah and by her beloved son Derek Verbofsky. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Verbofsky, son,Justin Verbofsky(Kelly) and her precious granddaughter, Alexis Verbofsky, grandson, Kaden Verbofsky. She had the best of friends, Stacie Conway, Lynn Farmer and many more friends and family who loved her. Last, but not least, her companion Paco, dog extraordinaire. Pam was the life of the party, lover of skulls and anything Halloween related, beloved wife, loving mom and grandma. Pam helped raise many working mama’s kiddos. She was always only a phone call away, best friend and friend to all, helper to those in need, Cher lover, phenomenal cook, casino lover and a cocktail mixologist. Mary Barbara Marks (December 7, 1940 – September 9, 2024) Mary Barbara Marks, beloved Mother to two children, Bret, of St. Louis, Missouri and Scott, of Macedonia, Ohio and her five Grandchildren, Rory, Rachel, Kayla, Ryan and Collin passed away on September 9th, 2024. Mary was preceded in death by her two Brothers, James and David Shuttera. Berdis, Margaret

Margaret (nee Titel) Berdis, was born September 3, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio. Margaret (Marge) passed peacefully at Danbury Senior Living in Brunswick Ohio on September 1, 2024. She had resided there for six years and had truly endeared herself to the loving and caring staff. Facing the end of life, the staff was assisted by Crossroads Hospice. All of her caregivers provided exceptional care and the family deeply appreciates all they did for her comfort and constant care. Marge was the loving wife of the late Paul F. Berdis. She was the fourth child of parents, Helen (nee Kisel) and Paul Titel (both deceased) who immigrated to America from Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia) in 1929. She is preceeded in death by her siblings and their spouses, Helen (Steve) Medas, Samuel (Emily) Titel, Zuzanna (Frank) Stranscak. Marge was also preceeded in death by nieces, Lynn Medas and Lynn Berdis, nephew Steven D. Medas, and great nephew, Samuel Drew Titel. Age 61, born on December 29, 1962 and passed away on August 28th 2024. Beloved husband of Nancy for 39 years. Loving father of Megan Combs. Son of Allen (deceased) and Patricia. Dear brother of Doug (Joanne) and Michelle Skutt (Joe). Leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Ron was a loving husband and father. Ron loved date night with Nancy on Saturday nights out by the bonfire, cooking hotdogs and listening to some good music. Ron had a heart of gold and would check on neighbors and friends when he thought they needed someone. He will be missed by many.
