Sandra (Edwards) Perry passed on to be with God January 28, 2025. With family at her side, she was at peace, and in comfort. A beautifully selfless and strong human being, she spent her life continually searching for how she could help others. She was an incredible mother and loving wife. She is survived by her son Matthew Means, daughter-in-law Amanda (Ashyk) Means, niece Kellie (Jeff) Stultz, caring step-children, as well as many other loving in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve, parents Lois and Roy Edwards, and younger sister Donna Parten. Sandie was born and raised in Lorain, Ohio. She moved to Elyria, Ohio in 1980 and eventually to Norwalk, Ohio in 1994. After graduating from Lorain High School in 1965, the majority of her career was spent at Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin, Ohio for 20-plus years, and as a business owner for the remaining 24 years before retiring. Audrey Joanne Kishman passed away peacefully January 21, 2025 at her home with at home Hospice in Lakewood Ohio. It was beautiful for the family to be with her during this seven month journey. She was born November 10, 1933 in Detroit Michigan. Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Albert Kishman, loving mother of Kimber Lee Neuendorf (Mark), the late Michael Schubert (Jane) and Jeffrey Schubert. Cherished grandmother of the late Matthew, Haley and Antonina, and great-grandmother of Madelyn Grace Schubert. Stepdaughters Pamela Baller (Scott) and Penny Crotty. Grand daughters Katlyn (Justin) and Sarah and grandson Page (Cici). Great grandsons Krew and Poe. Audrey was a successful small business owner for over 40 years and was highly recognized in her industry. Audrey volunteered in Clown Ministry for several years (Audacious) in nursing homes and local parades. It is with great sadness that the family of Howard H. Cornell announces his passing on January 21, 2025, at the age of 86. A longtime resident of Cleveland, Howard was a well-respected TV repairman in Fairview Park, Ohio, where he spent most of his career earning the trust and friendship of countless customers. Howard was a proud father to five children: Catherine (deceased), Howard Jr. (deceased), Steven, Wendy, and Lisa. He was also a devoted grandfather to eight grandchildren: Matthew, Megan, Brian, Jillian, Patrick, Jessica, Austin, and Kristin. His love for family was boundless, and he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his family, Howard found joy in bowling and golfing, especially during the years he spent with his beloved wife, Carol, who passed away in 2005. Bernhard “Bernie” Herman Anderson Jr., aged 90, living at the Concord Reserve in Westlake, Ohio, died peacefully on January 18, 2025, due to a stroke and heart complications. Bernie Anderson was born on May 31, 1934, and was raised in Yonkers, Westchester, New York, a suburb of New York City. He was the son of the late Bernhard Herman Anderson Sr. (1895-1963) and the late Ingegerd Lovisa Svenson (1898-1986) who immigrated from Trollhättan, Sweden to New York City through Ellis Island in 1931 with his older brother, the late Olof Lennart Anderson (1931-2021). It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Jean Alice (Schminky) English of Cleveland, Ohio. Jean was born February 21, 1936, at Huron Road Hospital in East Cleveland and passed away on December 14, 2024, in Rocky River Nursing Facility at the age of 88. Jean grew up in Mentor-on-the-Lake with her mother Naomi (Fogarty) Schminky and father Isaiah Schminky, her older brother George and sister Ruth (Schminky) Haygari. Jean followed her brother and sister to Mentor High School, graduating in 1957. She grew up one path away from the lake with many years of family beach time, clam bakes and seasonal celebrations. Her coming of age included roller skating with her sister and friends at Euclid Beach and endless summer days and nights at Headlands beach and Mentor-on-Lake. As Jean would love to say, their friendships overcame the test of time. Jean’s husband Douglas D. English was born in Kentucky on September 15, 1931. Timothy Lee Chambers, 65, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 27, 1959, in Mullens, West Virginia, Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Ginger and Lonnie Chambers, and his brothers, John Dee and Lonnie Chambers Jr. He is survived by his three sisters: Sherri Chambers of Johnson City, Tennessee; Lisa Chambers Sturgell of Bluefield, Virginia; and Terri Chambers Cox (Dave) of Bluefield, Virginia. He is also remembered by his four nieces: Alexandria and Isabella Sturgell, and Breanna and Katie Cox. His loving cousin, Melinda Dancy, and his dear friend, Becky Lange, both of Cleveland, Ohio, will deeply miss him, as will his many other cherished cousins. Tim graduated from Oceana High School in Oceana, West Virginia, in 1977. He had a lifelong love for music and brought joy to those around him with his infectious laughter and witty humor. Ronald G. Deighton, age 66, passed away on December 19, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on August 24, 1958, Ronald was a man of great passion and resilience who loved the simple, meaningful joys of life. Ronald is survived by his two sons, Brian Keith Deighton and Kevin Adam Deighton, who were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his brothers, William Deighton (Pat) and Kenneth Deighton (Mary). He was a beloved cousin, uncle and friend to many. Christine Mae Russell (nee Smith), age 90, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024 in Westlake, Ohio. Christine was born in West Virginia to Leonard and Harriet Smith and had an older brother Carl (dec). She moved to Akron, Ohio as a young woman and had many interesting jobs including teaching ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray and selling refuse service to a horse race track. Christine later lived in Kent and Twin Lakes, Ohio where she raised her four children Kim, Jennifer, Julie, and Matthew (dec). Her children were everything to her and she enjoyed cooking meals from scratch and celebrating birthdays and holidays with them. Christine adored her grandchildren Cara, Jacob, Ryan, Isabelle, Lilly, and Abby, and her great grandchildren Gabriella and Jade. Christine was more of a city girl than country girl and enjoyed visiting New York City. She also loved music and poetry, and tending her roses on her patio in Chardon where she lived for almost 20 years. A service and life celebration will be held Sunday December 29th at 1:00 pm at Pilgrim Church 202 S. Hambden St Chardon, Ohio.

Born on January 19, 1965, Lauren was a beloved daughter, mother, and friend, known for her compassion and dedication to others. Lauren graduated from North Olmsted High School in 1983, where she attended Polaris Career Center, honing her skills in commercial art. This experience laid the foundation for her lifelong passion for arts and crafts. She began her career in industrial production and manufacturing at Thomas & Betts, where her strong work ethic and attention to detail were evident. However, her true calling emerged later in life when she pursued a career in healthcare. In 2009, she earned her medical assisting degree from Remington College, leading to a fulfilling role as an activities coordinator in several healthcare facilities in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Her work as an activities coordinator was more than just a job; it was a testament to her deep commitment to enhancing the lives of others.
