SALYERS-SOKOL, PATRICIA

PATRICIA ANN SALYERS-SOKOL (née Boskovitch), 67, of North Ridgeville, passed away September 15, 2013. Wife of Thomas R., loving mother of Candice Maphet (Len), Rick (Heather) and step-son Steven; extra special, extraordinary grandmother “Nana” of Patricia, Claudia, Joshua, Nathan, Caleb, Ryan, Alyssa, Ricky and Benjamin, great-grandmother of Dante, Markus, Kodi, Antoinette and unborn grandson; sister of Mike Boskovitch. She was preceded in death by her beautiful daughter Tawania Willis and her parents Frank and Mary (née Dutko). Born and raised in Filbert, Pennsylvania, Patricia was always said to have a heart of gold. She gave to everyone and never said no to anyone. Her love was unconditional. Her home was always a gathering place for friends and family to enjoy her love for cooking and baking. In her spare time she enjoyed crafting, playing cards, playing tickets and her bingo buddies waited for her bird chirp when B-11 was called. On some days, to pass time, she simply enjoyed being in the car riding around with no particular destination but we always knew shopping was in the plan. If you needed a good laugh or a shoulder to cry on, Patty was always there. She was always comforting others and telling stories and jokes to put a smile on someone’s face. In honor of Patricia, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 27190 Royalton Road (Route 82) in Columbia Station.
