Graynor Walter Saraney, age 69, entered his eternal rest on September 17, 2026.

Graynor was more than a husband, father, and grandfather—he was the heart of his family. He loved deeply, protected fiercely, laughed loudly, and gave his family a lifetime of memories. His family was his greatest accomplishment, and the love he gave them will continue through every generation that follows.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Tamara (née Dailey). Together, they built a beautiful family—one that many could only dream of. Their six children, four beautiful daughters and two handsome sons, were the lights of Graynor’s life: Amber, Andrew, Allison (Ryan), Daisy (Carmin), Heather (Brian), and Graynor Evan. There was not a thing on earth he wouldn’t do for his children, and he was endlessly proud to call them his.

Affectionately known as Poppy, Graynor found his greatest joy in being a grandfather. Being Poppy was a role he cherished with his whole heart. He filled every room with belly laughs, smiles, and his unmistakable sense of humor. He loved nothing more than sitting and holding the babies, while being the goofy, loving grandpa that all of the older grandchildren adored.

Zachary, Zoe, Tammy, DJ, James, Grace, Eric, Ruby, Jayson, Thomas, Carmen, and Leo were incredibly lucky to call him their Poppy, and he was equally blessed to call them his grandchildren. Though his laughter may no longer fill our rooms and his smile may no longer greet us, his love will remain with us forever. He will live on in the stories we tell, the memories we cherish, and in the hearts of every person who was lucky enough to know and love him.

He will be profoundly missed, endlessly remembered, and truly and deeply loved—forever and
always.
