Stanley D. Spence, Sr, 66, of Cleveland, Ohio was born February 27, 1957 to his parents, the late Enoch and Sandra L. (nee Simmons) Spence.

Stanley passed away on September 21, 2023 after a brief illness.

He was a headstrong, independent, sassy, and a wonderful son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. We will miss him dearly. Stanley will be remembered as a great friend to family and friends, always keeping in touch and willing to help. He never knew a stranger.

Cherished father of Stacy, Shannon, and Stanley Jr. (Jenny) Spence. Loving grandfather of Elizabeth, Alley, Jack, and Luke Spence. Dear brother of Richard Spence and Kimberley (Michael) Brooks. Loving Uncle, Cousin, and Friend to many. Stanley also leaves behind his loved fur baby, named Baby.

Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids! He was a big fan of the Browns, country music, fishing, grilling and smoking food, playing chess, and he had a hobby of collecting Native American Indian figurines in remembrance of his heritage. His favorite sayings were “If It’s Free It’s For Me”, and “By Hook or Crook”. He was a 1975 graduate of Max S. Hayes High School of Cleveland, Ohio.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Stanley at a later date to be announced.
