Monica Varney, Age 59, a resident of Morristown, Arizona, long time resident of Wickliffe, Ohio, Passed away on February 14, 2026 in Goodyear, Arizona.

Monica was born November 19, 1966, in Euclid, Ohio to the late David Marinello and Patricia (Zakacs) Marinello.

Monica married the love of her life, Bart Varney, on July 15, 1995.  They most recently retired and moved to Arizona.  This move was a dream of theirs for many years.  Although the move was only a few months ago, she was able to enjoy close family time with Bart and her son, Nathan, fishing and basking in the wonderful Arizona weather.

She was preceded in death by her son, Sam, her parents, and her brother, Tony Marinello.

In addition to her husband, Bart, and son, Nathan, Monica is survived by two sisters, Anna Marie Lukehart  and Lisa Baucco.

Family and Friends will be received on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Christian Life Church, 8250 Garfield Road, Mentor, Ohio. Service will begin at 6:00 pm.

Interment will be Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 11:00 am at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Road, Chesterland, Ohio.
