HART, JAMES R. JAMES R. HART, age 70, passed away June 28, 2012. Beloved husband of 49 years to Janet (nee Taraschke); loving father of Julie Gerda (Dave) and Jeff (Lauri), loving "papa" of Denise, Ryan, Danielle, Jake and Haley. Son of the late Ralph and Lorna (Kydd) Hart. Fond brother of Valerie (Ron Valle), and Charles (Susan). Jim retired early as manager of benefits from Sohio and became active in his community of Columbia Station. He was a member of the school and zoning boards and Chairman of the Homecoming Festival. Jim was one of the founding members of the Western Reserve Fire Museum. For the last 17 years he and his wife lived the full-timing lifestyle in their RV with the address of "somewhere in North America". Burial will be private with a celebration of life later in August. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts in Jim's name to Columbia Community Foundation, PO Box 567, Columbia Station, OH 44028 or the Western Reserve Fire Museum, 310 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115. {rscomments on}

NORRIS

NORRIS, JOHN JOHN NORRIS began SCUBA diving in 1960 and ever since, has dedicated his 50-year career to instructing thousands of students in Greater Cleveland in the safe exploration of the vast underwater frontier. He has certified divers at dozens of area universities, recreation centers, and private clubs. He has trained and assisted NASA astronaut teams, police and fire departments, and search and rescue teams. Over the decades he introduced the dedicated diving community to physicians specializing in hyperbaric medicine, and further promoted sport, specialty and technical diving through his shop, Aqua Specialists. Throughout his career he greatly enjoyed escorting local divers to the wonders of exploring countless dive locations around the world. On this last dive he will be missed by Joan, Glen and Yoko, Ladonna, Scott and Amy. {rscomments on}

Alice was a faithful and active member of the West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church where she experienced love and deep friendship lasting throughout her life even to the last hours.
