Lora June Litos (nee Lake) Age 73, peacefully passed away on October 23, 2022. She was born to the late Carl L. Lake, Sr. and Elizabeth L. Riedel in Cleveland, Ohio on July 27, 1949. Beloved wife of the late Bill; loving mother to Pedro Lake (Xaymara), Richard Lake, and Anthony Lake (Michelle); dear sister of John, Michael, Terrance, and Richard (all deceased), and Carl, Jr. She was a caring Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, and friend to many.
Lora worked hard to raise her family and did the most with what God had given her. She was always there for her family and friends, through the good times and bad. She often did without so that her family and friends could have what they needed. Lora possessed an indomitable spirit that helped propel her through life’s challenges.
As a young mother, she volunteered with the Cleveland Auxiliary Police and as a Pack Leader for her son’s Cub Scout Troop. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and reading. In her later years, she passed her time watching re-runs of The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock. She never passed on the opportunity to watch the Wizard of Oz either!
Lora was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
