SLIMAN

Steven J. Sliman of Columbia Station Ohio passed away suddenly Sept. 5th 2020. He is survived by his Father George Sliman of Brunswick, his siblings David and Debbie Sliman, Ronald Sliman of Middleburgh Heights, Dennis and Denise Mizner of Columbia Station, grand-daughter Liana K. Burke of North Ridgeville. (Secondary family Micky Burke, Betsy Burke and Angie DeCaprio). Nieces and nephews are Kayla Mizner and Chase Pettrella, David and Nicole Core, Karly DeCaprio, Louis and Colton Mizner. He is preceded in death by his Mother Geraldine Mizner, step-Father Louis Mizner, adopted Father Terry Burke and his beloved son Stevie John Burke. Steve touched the hearts and lives of many people, he loved to make people laugh and was a great entertainer. He will be dearly missed, his favorite pass-time included spending time with his grand-daughter and many friends, He enjoyed camping, Nascar, and listening to his favorite band Motley Crue. He would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Mary Eileen O’Shea, born December 8, 1954, died September 3, 2020. Preceded in death by parents, Tommy and Rita Mae, and brother Patrick (Christine). Greatly loved and missed by spouse Mike Beckman, sons Ben Beckman (Ali Day) and Jake Beckman (Lizzy Hindman-Harvey), grandchildren Anders, Cleo, and Skyler, siblings Kathy (Scott) Meyer, Patty, Kevin (Mary), and Timmy, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues. Mary grew up in Akron, Ohio and attended Saint Mary’s High School. She graduated from Cleveland State University with a BA in Philosophy, and later completed coursework in non-profit management studies at the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations at Case Western Reserve University. Mary held positions of leadership at the Cleveland Food Co-op, later moving to Planned Parenthood of Northeast Ohio to serve as the Director of Public Policy. At the Greater Cleveland Foodbank, she pushed for food equity in our region as the Director of Advocacy and Public Education, fighting for policy and legislative support in Columbus and Washington, DC. Mary loved gardening, walking, being with her grandkids, and just hanging out with her husband Mike, partner for 32 years. Don’t cry because it is over; smile because it happened. Dr. Seuss Rami-Craig (nee Rami) Edwina Jean Rami-Craig, age 61, passed away on August 20, 2020 at her home in Brook Park Ohio. Edwina was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Anthony and Loretta Rami [nee Fillar] on January 21, 1959. Edwina was dedicated to her two children, a caring sister to five siblings and a loving friend to many. She enjoyed camping and anything outdoors during her spare time. William (Bill) Horton, age 73, passed away August 10th 2020. Husband of Suzanne, father of William, Beth, Suzanne, Daniel and David, stepfather of Joseph, Vincent, James and Lorraine. He liked the outdoors and spend his time camping and fishing. Services will be private. Burial will take place at the Military Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

George F. Joseph, October 6, 1935 - August 13, 2020 of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the age of 84. George was a man who was loved by everyone who met him. George was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ford Joseph. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Lockwood, children Kim Oney, and grandson and light of his life, Ryan Joseph Oney. He was a loving brother to his sister Rita O’Leary and brothers Michael T. Joseph (Sheryll), Chuck Joseph (Dawn), and Peter Joseph. He was an uncle to many. Rose Pacholewski, age 94, died Monday, August 17, 2020 at Pleasantview Care Center/Continuum Care Hospice, Parma, Ohio. Rose was born August 8, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Josef Nemecek and Matilda Hodus. Rose was married to Steve Pacholewski for 38 years until his passing in 2011. She was a wonderful wife, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. We will miss her great sense of humor and love for her family and friends. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Larry, Olga, Viola and Bobby. A private graveside service for immediate family only will be held on Friday, August 21st at 10:00AM at Highland Park Cemetery, 21400 Chagrin Blvd., Cleveland. James F. Heinbaugh, 77, formerly of Litchfield, OH and Punta Gorda, FL, passed away in Parma, OH on July 19th, 2020. James was born in Uniontown, PA to Mary Kleja and James Heinbaugh on May 21, 1943. He was welcomed into Heaven by his beloved wife of 57 years, Janet (nee Erdman); his mother, Mary Gladish; and sister, Anna Marie Rohall. He is survived by “his best friend” and sister, Patricia Rembacki, of Temple, TX; His daughters, Laura Richardson, Sheri Townsend (Gary), Maryann Fieldhouse (John), Penny Snider (Bill), and Donna Heinbaugh (Dave). He leaves behind ten grandchildren, Kenneth, Katrina (K.D), J.J., Maggie, Lindsey, Kayla, Christian, Nathan, Olivia, Isabella, and great-grandson William. Uncle and Great Uncle to many.
