Jim retired early as manager of benefits from Sohio and became active in his community of Columbia Station. He was a member of the school and zoning boards and Chairman of the Homecoming Festival. Jim was one of the founding members of the Western Reserve Fire Museum. For the last 17 years he and his wife lived the full-timing lifestyle in their RV with the address of "somewhere in North America". Burial will be private with a celebration of life later in August.
