Marilyn Krotseng, January 23, 1934 – December 8, 2019 Born in Ellendale, MN to Hubert and Sybil Rief (nee Lester). Preceded in death by husband Rolf, and sister Pam Michels. Survived by her children Stephanie Lahti, David, Thomas, and Andy (Patty). Grandchildren Stephen Lahti (Kristy), Andy Lahti, Nicholas Murrett (Rebecca), Amy Krotseng, and Rachel Krotseng. Great grandchildren Everett, Bryce, and Harrison. Many nieces and nephews as well. Marilyn graduated from Clintonville, WI High School and earned her Nursing degree at Mercy School of Nursing. She retired from Aristocrat Lakewood nursing home after working as Head Nurse there as well as a registered nurse at several hospitals in Cleveland. Marilyn enjoyed racing on their many boats over the years beginning with their Flying Scot through to their Pearson 30. She thoroughly enjoyed supporting the entire family in their sailing endeavors and insisted the boat be raced. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, cross-stitching, and was an avid reader – a gift she passed on to her granddaughters. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Inter-Lake Yachtsmen’s Fund at Yachtsmensfund.org.

MARTIEN

Connie Martien, age 72, passed away in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday, November 23, 2019 with family at her bedside. She was preceded in death by her father Daniel Mast, her mother Bernadine Mast (Raeder), and her brother David Mast. Connie was a loving mother to her two children, son Michael Martien and daughter Renee Martien. Connie was born in Akron, Ohio in 1947. In her youth she enjoyed caring for and riding horses, as well as ice skating. She studied Anthropology and Dental Hygiene at The Ohio State University. She was in the OSU Marching Band, in addition to being an avid ice skater on campus. Moving to Cleveland, Connie became an ice skating competitor and teacher, as well as a dental hygienist. She deeply loved horses, cats, reading and being on the ice. She spent many hours teaching kids and adults how to ice skate. Connie also loved to cook and bake and it showed in the dishes she created. She will be loved and remembered for her humor, strength and charm. Eileen Marie Lialios age 78 of Cleveland, peacefully passed at her home on November 3, 2019, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her wonderful children: Ethel, Sheila (Harold), Lesa, and Christopher. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: William, Harold, Ingrid (Chris), Erik (Lacy), Brandon, Bethany (Bea), Christina (Carl), and Christopher (Brasta). She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her beloved sister Mary Kinsey as well. Darla Gene Evert, age 55, passed away in her Valley City home on the morning of Sunday, October 6th, 2019. She was born to Towny Hawk and Richard Evert on October 10th, 1963. She was a nurturing daughter and caring older sister to 3 brothers, Ricky, Danny, and Dwayne. She was also a devoted, loving mother to Rikki Gene Evert and proud grandmother to Yara Gene. Darla was an animal whisperer and dedicated her life to raising and rescuing animals. From horses to chihuahuas and all sizes in between, she truly had a passion for animals and was a healer at heart. Charles C Wilkey, 55, of Fairview Park, Oh, passed away on 10-18-2019 surrounded by family and friends. A much loved brother, son and Uncle, he was born to parents Charlene Sprankel and Everett Leon Wilkey, on 02-01-1964 in Green, Oh. Chuck battled health issues most of his life from a pituitary tumor and finally succumbing to kidney failure following complications from the removal of his pancreas and gallbladder due to a condition that would have led to pancreatic cancer. Chuck was a music lover and spent his happiest years as a recording engineer at Harvest Recording Studio where he also lived beneath the studio in the barn in Streetsboro, Oh. When his hearing declined he adapted by creating Red Barn Graphics to serve the visual art needs of studio patrons. He excelled in art, music, photography, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Beloved Jacob Gordon Hunt, child of Ellen & Willard Hunt, brother to Andrew & Christina Hunt, and Christian Sonderegger & Catherine Dreyfus, boyfriend to Maximilian Greenberg, uncle to Maxwell & Louise Hunt, and Charlie & Capucine Sonderegger, passed away at the age of 32 on Monday, October 7, 2019. Jacob was an ardent lover of nature and animals, an accomplished artist, and a man with a truly giving heart. He was homeschooled and chose a career as a paramedic. Jacob collaborated with his brother Christian to create a documentary about his life, "Coby," which premiered at Cannes Film Festival. Jacob was a cherished friend and family member who will be sorely missed. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Human Rights Campaign (give.hrc.org). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, at 1:30 pm, at the Federated Church, 76 Bell Street, Chagrin Falls, OH.

Lynne Dougan, 75, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 at MetroHealth, surrounded by her adopted family. Lynne was born July 25th, 1944 to Albert and Catherine Henderson. Lynne spent her time crocheting, crafting and reading. She enjoyed going to garage sales and participating in local craft shows. She appreciated some good music and playing darts. She was an avid advocate for animals of all kinds. She is survived by her adopted family, longtime friend Steve Langford, adopted daughter Carrie Kent (Mike), adopted sons Steve Jr. (Rachel), Ben (Ashley) and Joe (Claire). She was an awesome Nanny to Nathan, Shannon, Amanda and Myra. Also, two adopted great granddaughters, Mina and Arya, and another on the way. She is also survived by her friend Barb Langford, and her feline companion, Shamus. She is proceeded in death by her parents, and her beloved dog, Lottie. Family and Friends are welcome to attend a luncheon, to celebrate the life Lynne lived, Sunday October 13th, 2019 at the Friendship Hall, at Ridgewood United Methodist Church, 6330 Ridge Road, Parma from 2-4pm. Lynne's final resting place will be at the Riverside Cemetery, in Painesville, Ohio.

Dylan James Hlucky, 28 of Cleveland, OH passed away suddenly Friday, 9/20/19 at approximately 9:30 p.m. We can all take solace in the fact that Dylan was happy and doing what he loved at the time, riding his motorcycle. He is survived by his loving parents, Kathy and Ken, and siblings, Sara, Jake, James, and his loving girlfriend Amy Cek. His grandmother Elizabeth Hlucky and uncles and aunts John & Betty Hlucky, Joe Lyons, Lori Kennedy, and all other family members mourn his passing. Dylan was employed by the City of North Olmsted, Service Dept. and was respected and loved by his co-workers.
