Hedwig Maria Szekely (née Wiesler) passed away peacefully on June 23, 2026, surrounded by her cherished photographs, beloved books and loving family. Hedy was born on March 13, 1927, to Isabella and Dr. Fritz Wiesler in Graz, Austria. She spent her childhood in Graz, where her father practiced medicine and owned a hospital. During World War II, her family lost the hospital and endured significant hardship. At the age of 18, Hedy married her first husband, Dr. Charles Wimmer. Following the birth of their first son, Charles, the family emigrated to the United States in search of greater opportunities and a brighter future. After the birth of their second son, Christopher, Hedy later married Imre Szekely. Together they made their home in Lakewood, Ohio, where they welcomed their son, Emery.  Hedy enjoyed a successful career as a licensed beautician, specializing in skincare and facial treatments. In her later years, she discovered a passion for ballroom dancing, earning countless awards and competition titles. Patrick J. Zitiello Sr., age 69, of Brooklyn, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on November 1, 1956, Patrick was a lifelong resident of the Brooklyn area. He attended Brooklyn High School before proudly answering the call to serve his country in the U.S. Army. Patrick was a remarkably humble and simple man who found his greatest joy in life’s quiet moments. He loved nothing more than casting a fishing line, sitting by a warm bonfire, and sharing a cup of coffee and a good conversation with his children. He approached life with an open mind, a laid-back spirit, and an appreciation for the simple things. Martha T. Viztes, age 98, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 22, 2026. She was the owner and operator of Minisec Secretarial Service for nearly 50 years.  Martha also enjoyed playing piano, cooking, baking, sewing and crocheting, gifting afghans to many friends and family across the country. Beloved daughter of the late Louis A. Jackovic and the late Theresa B. Samko and sister of the late George L. Jackovich. Beloved mother of Terrence L. Brennan and Elizabeth A. Viztes. Brad Charnas, 75, of Rocky River, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by family after a long battle with Cancer. Brad was born on November 25th, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, during the "Blizzard of the Century,” to Nicholas and Diamond Charnas. After graduating from Charles F Brush High School in 1968 and The Ohio State University in 1973, Brad began his appraisal career with what is now The Pickering Group. In 1980, he started Charnas Appraisal, focused primarily on relocation appraising, which sustained him and his family until he retired in 2021. During his career, he was recognized frequently for appraisal accuracy and professionalism, which led to service on several appraisal advisory panels. This led to service as President of Relocation and Consultants and then President of Worldwide ERC, both professional organizations aligned with Relocation Appraising. While his professional career gave him a great deal of satisfaction, his greatest pleasure came from nurturing and uplifting those around him, especially his children and his family. January 15, 1971 – June 11, 2026 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Angelo Fortini on June 11, 2026. Mark's happiness and laughter radiated wherever he went. He touched countless lives as an accomplished, hardworking man who always protected and cared for his family. Sadly, on June 11, 2026, an angel got her wings. Linda Avonda Rees (née Tucker) went to be with the Lord at the age of 74. Linda was born on January 28, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Earnest Tucker and Ruby Ellen Tucker (Lackey). She grew up surrounded by mountains and farms, and loved the simple country life. Linda was the beloved wife of William Benjamin Rees, Jr., with whom she shared 49 years of marriage. Together, they raised three children: Mary Rees, William Rees, and Jenna Rees. She was the proud grandmother of Lola Mize (Justice), Zack Rees, Skyler Bitner, and Logan Bitner, and the great-grandmother of Robert Rees, son of Zack Rees. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were blessed by her love and kindness. Susan K. Peters age 84 (nee Hostelley) passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026. She was proceeded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Jim Peters. Born to the late Jack & Rita Hostelley, Susan was a cherished daughter & sister, predeceased by her brother David & survived by her sister in law Margaret, her brother Ronald (Sue). Ray Elliott Hollowell, Jr, was born April 22, 1944 and went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2026 in Ames Hospice House near Cleveland, Ohio with his daughters by his side. Born to Elizabeth Blanchard Hollowell and Ray Elliott Hollowell, Sr. in Camden, North Carolina, Ray attended Camden County High School and the University of North Carolina in Charlotte with a degree in business. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he began his career as a real estate developer. He eventually made his way to Manteo, North Carolina with his family, as he was drawn to the beautiful landscape and opportunity. He predeceased his mother, who passed away two weeks exactly after he died. His father, Ray Elliott Hollowell, Sr., died in 1970, when Ray was 26.
