MOHAR, JOSEPH JOSEPH J. MOHAR, 88, died peacefully on December 31, 2015 at his home in North Olmsted, Ohio. Joe was born on August 8,1927 to Joseph and Florence (Daley) Mohar in Cleveland. He graduated from Benedictine High School and attended John Carroll University. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Army (1945) as a cryptographer. Upon discharge, Joe married his high school sweetheart Loretta M. Wisniewski in 1949. Together they had 11 children, 27 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, with more to be expected. To Joe, his most significant accomplishment was his family. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Loretta; favorite children, Robert (Kathleen), Gregory (Martha), Daniel (Lora), Kenneth, Karen Mohar-Wolf, Gerald (Cynthia), Susan Yencha (Jeff), Jo Ann Kelly (John), Lawrence (Denise), Richard (Stephanie), and Joel (Kelly). Also surviving are his siblings: Cecelia (Ronald) Brown and Jack (Patricia) and sister-in-law Sheila Mohar. Also, survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A licensed master plumber, Joe had a 40-year career as an executive for several mechanical contracting firms. Among his notable projects are the Dancing Fountains in Tower City. HOSLER, NORMAN NORMAN HOSLER, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2015. Beloved husband of Clara Edom Hosler, and the late Sarah Jane Hosler; devoted father of Peggy Hosler-Hayes (Eric) and Ginny Ford (Bob); a supportive mentor to Mike, Billy, and Ben Edom; loving grandfather of Jesse and Cody Hosler, and Sarah Ford. Born in Cleveland, graduated from Bay Village High School and Ohio University, and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He lived in Detroit, MI, and Poway, CA, and worked for the Otis Elevator Co. (Detroit) and owned a successful office supply business (Poway Valley Stationers/Service Office Supply) for 28 years in Poway until retiring in 2001. Upon his return to Northwest Ohio in 2001, he became a Certified Signing Agent/Notary Public, which he professionally executed right up until he passed away. Norman was an active member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist Rocky River. He served as President on the Alcazar Board of Directors and enjoyed ballroom dancing and photography.
