Jan was born July 29th, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Leola and James Hawkins. Jan was known to many for her unwavering faith and love of God and for her contagious smile. Having an almost childlike innocence, Jan’s journey here on this Earth was a rollercoaster ride that caused her to experience highs and lows yet her faith kept her going and kept her smiling. She was married to Palmer Taylor who preceded her in death November 1st, 2009. She is survived by her five sisters (June (twin), Edith, Sonia, Tonya, and Carrie), her four children (Tiffany, Brittany, Christopher, and Quinton), and three grandchildren (Aaron, De’Lovely, and Sabrina).
