HAWKINS-TAYLOR, JAN Jan Hawkins-Taylor or The immortal Wanda B as some would call her died on March 3rd, 2016 in her home in East Cleveland, Ohio. Jan was born July 29th, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Leola and James Hawkins. Jan was known to many for her unwavering faith and love of God and for her contagious smile. Having an almost childlike innocence, Jan’s journey here on this Earth was a rollercoaster ride that caused her to experience highs and lows yet her faith kept her going and kept her smiling. She was married to Palmer Taylor who preceded her in death November 1st, 2009. She is survived by her five sisters (June (twin), Edith, Sonia, Tonya, and Carrie), her four children (Tiffany, Brittany, Christopher, and Quinton), and three grandchildren (Aaron, De’Lovely, and Sabrina). TILLETT, BRUCE BRUCE ALLEN TILLETT, age 74, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday morning, February 24, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones.Bruce was a devoted father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He was always willing to go without to provide for hisfamily. He was preceded in death by his mother Sylvia Blackburn (nee Mangillo), and father Clementine Tillett, his sisters Clem and Linda. Bruce leaves behind his wife Bernie Tillett, his daughters Debbie Wheeler Tillett, Nancy, Holly, and Faith, his sons Dennis, Dominic,and Nick. His granddaughters, Brianna, Amber, Ashley, grandsons Jordan, Blake, and Raymond. Also his best friend of many years,Dorothy, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. MOHAR, JOSEPH JOSEPH J. MOHAR, 88, died peacefully on December 31, 2015 at his home in North Olmsted, Ohio. Joe was born on August 8,1927 to Joseph and Florence (Daley) Mohar in Cleveland. He graduated from Benedictine High School and attended John Carroll University. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Army (1945) as a cryptographer. Upon discharge, Joe married his high school sweetheart Loretta M. Wisniewski in 1949. Together they had 11 children, 27 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, with more to be expected. To Joe, his most significant accomplishment was his family. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Loretta; favorite children, Robert (Kathleen), Gregory (Martha), Daniel (Lora), Kenneth, Karen Mohar-Wolf, Gerald (Cynthia), Susan Yencha (Jeff), Jo Ann Kelly (John), Lawrence (Denise), Richard (Stephanie), and Joel (Kelly). Also surviving are his siblings: Cecelia (Ronald) Brown and Jack (Patricia) and sister-in-law Sheila Mohar. Also, survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A licensed master plumber, Joe had a 40-year career as an executive for several mechanical contracting firms. Among his notable projects are the Dancing Fountains in Tower City.
