Maureen “Moe” Collier Moe Collier age 81 passed away on February 24, 2025 after a short illness. She is survived by her daughter Tina Roberts and son Tim Collier (Natalie). Grandchildren, Justin, Billy, Danielle (Tyler), Michaela (Shane), Andrew, Alex and Maya and 3 great grandchildren. A caring sister and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews, cousins and friend to many. Moe loved spending time at her lake house on Catawba Island with friends and family. Shirley C Davis (Church) (1936-2025) was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley passed away peacefully on February 12th, 2025, at her home in Parma, Ohio at the age of 88, after a long illness. Shirley was born in Calhoun County WV on December 25th, 1936, and some of her final thoughts were of home. Loving Wife of Gilbert Anderson Davis (deceased). Loving mother of Kenneth R Davis (Chris) and Kathy J Davis. Grandmother to Brian, Lindsay and Riley & Great Grandmother to Connor. Shirley is also survived by her Sister Evelyn Church and Brother George Church (WV), and her Sister of the Heart Loretta Russell. (WV) Shirley’s celebration of life will be March 15th, 2025, at Bethel Christian Church, 12901 W Pleasant Valley Rd, Cleveland, Ohio 44130. Burial will take place at a later date, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

Malinosky, Claudia 12/04/1942-02/05/2025 It is with great sadness that Kimberly Eble (Bill) and Karen Warmuth (Tom) announce the peaceful passing of their mother, Claudia, on February 5, 2025. Claudia joins her loving husband of 57 years, Larry, who passed on March 14, 2020. Claudia and Larry will both be remembered for their great love of family. Nothing brought them more joy than their grandchildren, Kiley and Quinn. Claudia was a proud graduate of John Marshall High School, Class of January 1961. Claudia then went on to achieve her lifelong goal of becoming a nurse and spent her career at Lakewood Hospital. She then enjoyed her retirement years working in the First Aid department at The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Claudia will always be remembered for her huge heart and outgoing personality; she was a friend to everyone she met. Larry was raised on the West Side of Cleveland, and met his wife Claudia during his time working at Deluxe Check Printers. Samuel L. Franks age 71, was born on April 19, 1953 and suddenly passed away on February 5, 2025. Loving husband to the lake Kathy Franks of 44 years. Proud father of Rachel, Megan, Sam Jr., and the family dogs Nardin and Prince. Dear brother of Marshall and Junior. Our beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and dear friend, Norma "Faith" Chaney, entered eternal rest on January 30, 2025 after a short illness. She was 86. She leaves behind a devoted husband, Nathaniel (aka: "Nate"), loving son Troy (Wife: Meghan), cherished grandchildren (Thyra, Emilio, Gabriel, and Elizabeth), as well as many nieces, nephews & close friends. Sandra (Edwards) Perry passed on to be with God January 28, 2025. With family at her side, she was at peace, and in comfort. A beautifully selfless and strong human being, she spent her life continually searching for how she could help others. She was an incredible mother and loving wife. She is survived by her son Matthew Means, daughter-in-law Amanda (Ashyk) Means, niece Kellie (Jeff) Stultz, caring step-children, as well as many other loving in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve, parents Lois and Roy Edwards, and younger sister Donna Parten. Sandie was born and raised in Lorain, Ohio. She moved to Elyria, Ohio in 1980 and eventually to Norwalk, Ohio in 1994. After graduating from Lorain High School in 1965, the majority of her career was spent at Allen Memorial Hospital in Oberlin, Ohio for 20-plus years, and as a business owner for the remaining 24 years before retiring. Audrey Joanne Kishman passed away peacefully January 21, 2025 at her home with at home Hospice in Lakewood Ohio. It was beautiful for the family to be with her during this seven month journey. She was born November 10, 1933 in Detroit Michigan. Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Albert Kishman, loving mother of Kimber Lee Neuendorf (Mark), the late Michael Schubert (Jane) and Jeffrey Schubert. Cherished grandmother of the late Matthew, Haley and Antonina, and great-grandmother of Madelyn Grace Schubert. Stepdaughters Pamela Baller (Scott) and Penny Crotty. Audrey was a successful small business owner for over 40 years and was highly recognized in her industry. It is with great sadness that the family of Howard H. Cornell announces his passing on January 21, 2025, at the age of 86. A longtime resident of Cleveland, Howard was a well-respected TV repairman in Fairview Park, Ohio, where he spent most of his career earning the trust and friendship of countless customers. Howard was a proud father to five children: Catherine (deceased), Howard Jr. (deceased), Steven, Wendy, and Lisa. He was also a devoted grandfather to eight grandchildren: Matthew, Megan, Brian, Jillian, Patrick, Jessica, Austin, and Kristin. His love for family was boundless, and he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his family, Howard found joy in bowling and golfing, especially during the years he spent with his beloved wife, Carol, who passed away in 2005. Bernhard “Bernie” Herman Anderson Jr., aged 90, living at the Concord Reserve in Westlake, Ohio, died peacefully on January 18, 2025, due to a stroke and heart complications. Bernie Anderson was born on May 31, 1934, and was raised in Yonkers, Westchester, New York, a suburb of New York City. He was the son of the late Bernhard Herman Anderson Sr. (1895-1963) and the late Ingegerd Lovisa Svenson (1898-1986) who immigrated from Trollhättan, Sweden to New York City through Ellis Island in 1931 with his older brother, the late Olof Lennart Anderson (1931-2021). After graduating from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers, New York, Bernie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from Renssaealer Polytechnic University in Troy, New York (1956) and earned a Master of Science degree in aeronautical engineering from Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland, Ohio (961). It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of Jean Alice (Schminky) English of Cleveland, Ohio. Jean was born February 21, 1936, at Huron Road Hospital in East Cleveland and passed away on December 14, 2024, in Rocky River Nursing Facility at the age of 88. Jean grew up in Mentor-on-the-Lake with her mother Naomi (Fogarty) Schminky and father Isaiah Schminky, her older brother George and sister Ruth (Schminky) Haygari. Jean followed her brother and sister to Mentor High School, graduating in 1957. She grew up one path away from the lake with many years of family beach time, clam bakes and seasonal celebrations. Her coming of age included roller skating with her sister and friends at Euclid Beach and endless summer days and nights at Headlands beach and Mentor-on-Lake. As Jean would love to say, their friendships overcame the test of time. Jean’s husband Douglas D. English was born in Kentucky on September 15, 1931.
