Weber, James

On March 7, 2024 we lost James Edward Weber unexpectedly at his home in Parma Heights, Ohio from a pulmonary embolism. James was born December 1, 1975 in Cleveland and adopted by his loving parents Paul & Joan Weber, both deceased. He grew up in Rocky River, Ohio, playing with his younger sister and his friends. He was a talented and skilled pianist and saxophonist. In adulthood he traveled and had many happy years in Ocracoke, NC and Portland, OR, before returning to Ohio. Jim loved helping his friends, cooking for them, debating philosophy, and binge-watching the next great show while endlessly dissecting and debating it with them. He had a curious mind, a clever wit, and an appreciation of the absurd. Jim had a wonderful charisma, whether he realized it or not, that was immediately present any time he entered a room. He was a person who, upon meeting, you wanted to get to know better. He was entrepreneurial and creative - he anticipated Uber Eats by more than a decade with his “Take-Out Taxi” business in Ocracoke. In 2006, he brought dancers together to recreate the Thriller performance for the first time in Portland, OR. He ran his ...Read More
