January 18, 1964 - April 13, 2025Kelli Anne Hawthorne Cannon, age 61, of Cleveland Heights, passed away on Sunday April 13, 2025 at home after an 8 year battle with cancer. Born in Madison Wisconsin, then raised in Shaker Heights and Kent, Ohio, she graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School and spent a summer in Turkey as an AFS exchange student. She attended Kent State University where she received her Bachelors degree in International Political Science and Masters degree inEducation. She also attended the Methodist Theological School and received a Masters degree in Theology and Counseling.Kelli loved history and worked for many years at the Ohio Historical Society in Columbus, Ohio and then became the Site Manager for the President Warren G. Harding Home in Marion, Ohio. She also served as Associate Pastor of Prospect Street Church and taught World Religions as Adjunct Professor for the Methodist Theological School in Delaware, Ohio and Franklin University. December 14, 1949 – March 23, 2025 James Walter (Dub) Elliott, age 75, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 at O’Neill Healthcare Center.  Mr. Elliott was born on December 14, 1949 in Lepanto, Arkansas to John Lee Elliott and Mauvline McVey.  James was in the Army and was awarded the purple heart during his service in Vietnam.  He loved model planes, trains and automobiles.  He was a long-time resident of Cleveland, Ohio who lived a quiet life. He is preceded in death by his father, John Lee Elliott; his mother Mauvline Elliott and his daughter, Balinda Gale Hymen. Survivors include his sister, Carrie Lee Church, his nieces, Patricia Lee Bennett of Stuart, FL along with her husband Robert; Pamela Jean Hert of West Palm Beach, FL along with her husband Dennis; and Kimberly Ann Chipps of Asheboro, North Carolina and many great-nieces and nephews, and also many great-great nieces and nephews Mr. Elliott will be laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH with full military honors. Arrangements are being entrusted to Malloy-Esposito Cleveland Burial and Cremation Co.

Frank Gliha, 77, of Lakewood, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on April 2nd, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Landshut, Germany, on November 6th, 1947, Frank immigrated to the United States at a young age, where his family settled in Cleveland, Ohio. After attending Cleveland South High School, he worked as a welder building ships, including repairs on the Steamship Mather for American Ship Building. He retired after 28 years as a Professional Wastewater Treatment Operator and was known and respected by his family, friends and co-workers for his work ethic, self-sacrifice, and kindness to all. From an early age, Frank embraced a supportive role for his siblings. This trait continued throughout his life as he took pride in ensuring his family was well-fed, secure, and never lacked for anything. Frank was a Golden Glove boxer, award-winningdarter, and a skilled pool player, having run a Colorado Springs pool hall with his brother, David. He loved fishing, cooking, westerns, and raising his children and grandchildren. Steven Dale Arnold passed away on March 31, 2025, in Cleveland, Ohio. Born on August 31, 1952, in Dover, Ohio to the late David H. and Mary Belle Arnold (née Anslow) Brother of Judi (Michael) Bowling, Melinda, and the following deceased Jim, David, Mary Holderbaum and Susie. He is survived by his former spouse and good friend Susan Arnold (née Kozyk). Brother-in-law Ray Kozyk (Terie). Sister-in-law Raylene Kozyk (Ray Tilley). Children Aaron and Ashleigh. With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Pellegrin. She died on March 3, 2025, at Ennis Court, Lakewood, Ohio after an extended illness. She was born September 10, 1935, in Marion County, West Virginia. She was a longtime resident of West Virginia and Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Giovanni (John) Meffe and Assunta (Susie) DiPlacido, and siblings Michael Meffe, Angelina Maccarone, Pearl Dellimuti, Anthony Meffe, Betty Walters, Mary Louise Siko, Joseph D. Meffe, Franklin D. Meffe, and Daniel P. Meffe. She is survived by her brother, John Meffe Jr. She enjoyed a long, blessed life with her beloved husband Dominick Joseph Pellegrin. Together, throughout their marriage, they frequently traveled, dabbled in many real estate adventures, and co-owned a heating company and catalog business. Dominick died in 2022. She then relocated to Ohio, under the care of her nephew Marty Walters. She was cherished by her large extended family. Kelly Ann Esson (Boskovitch), 56, a beautiful, adored woman who sadly left our world peacefully on March 3rd, 2025, surrounded by her family who loved her.
