Born 8/1/38 to 10/30/24 Loving husband for 66 years to Nancy (Ann LoBello). Father to Ron Simmons (Kathy Longo), Lisa Burris ( James Halanski), Sheila Craniotis (Jorge), Michelle Shannon (Hugh), Monice Fritts (Ed), Monica Bitner (Scott Sharon). The family is blessed with 13 grandchildren (Christopher, Nicole, Victoria, Andrew, Colin, Alex, Niko, Matthew, Michaela, Madison, Chad, Amber, and McKenna) and beyond blessed with 11 great-grandchildren. Ronald worked for Cleveland Range Company nearly his entire career. Additionally, was an avid handball player at Willoughby YMCA and participated in many State of Ohio Competitive Handball Tournaments. Ron knew how to draw in a crowd with his vivacious personality and contagious laugh. Ron entered into Eternal Rest and Peace surrounded by his devoted wife and six children. Elizabeth left this world after a long and valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Elizabeth was the devoted mother of Kristen Chambers (née Yanda) of Sheffield Village and cherished mother-in-law to Victor Chambers. She is preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Kyle Yanda, who held a special place in her heart. She was the daughter of the late Etta (née Johnston) and Kenneth Yanda, whom she honored throughout her life with her kindness and dedication. DAVID L. BLY, age 89 passed away October 21, 2024 due to Alzheimer's disease. Dearly beloved husband of Jean; Loving father of Ken (Kathy) Bly; cherished grandfather of Justin (Emily), Amanda Bezares (Michael), and a devoted great grandfather. Preceded in death by his first wife Ruth, and his daughter Janice Field. Dave was a retired member of the Westlake Police Department. During his 30 years of service, he held all ranks including that of police chief from 1986 to 1992. He was a member of the Westlake Police Department pistol team, and an expert marksman. Upon retirement, he was secretary/treasurer of the Retired Ohio Police Chiefs Association. He loved bowling and playing softball for the Huff-N-Puffers Senior Softball League. Other hobbies included woodworking and genealogy where he was able to trace his family back to the 1600's. All services were private. Memorial contributions can be made to Christ Church, 23080 Royalton Road, Columbia Station, Ohio where he was a longtime member.

Richard Dathan Price, age 66, born November 4th 1957 in Cleveland Ohio, passed away on October 22, 2024. Dedicated and loving Husband to Robbi Ann Price (Owens) father to Rhiannon Price (Patrick) Ryan Price (Alicia) Grandfather to Olivia, Morgan and soon to be Grandson arriving January 2025. Mark George Hoffman age 70, passed away October 19, 2024 in Parma, Ohio previously of Shaker Heights, Ohio. Mark was born January 20, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to George J. Hoffman and Patricia A. Hoffman. He graduated from Shaker Heights High School and became a millwright at LTV Steel. Later, Mark worked at the RTA Central Rail Facility as a track mechanic. Mark was known for his love of good music, Ford Mustangs and animals. He is survived by his son Scott Hoffman (Tais Ludwig) of Washington, DC, sister Sally P. Glaser and brother Drew L. Hoffman, both of Florida as well his niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David F. Hoffman. Mark was cremated per his wishes with no services. He will be laid to rest at a later date.

Audrey Estelle Murray, nee Simader, 89 passed away October 11th, 2024 at O’Neill Healthcare in Bay Village, Ohio. Born July 20th, 1935, Audrey visited Florida often and spent most of her long life living in Brunswick, Ohio. Audrey raised three sons, and is survived by Kevin of Bay Village (Lydia DeGeorge) and Justin of Wisconsin (Angela). Son Darin passed away in September. She is also survived by her sister Helen, 94 years old of Florida, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was aunt and great-aunt to many. Audrey spent her career in real estate. She loved horses, cats, antiques, thrifting and going out to restaurants. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling to casinos throughout the states and in Canada. A remembrance of Audrey will be held at her son Kevin’s house on November 17th from 1 to 4.

Donna McDonald, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024, after a long illness. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Luther “Luke” McDonald. A devoted mother, Donna is survived by her children: Michael (Dawn), Susan Ortiz (Kenneth), and Sarah McDonald (Allyn Cheney). She was a cherished sister to Elda Custer Jeskey (Robert, John), the late Lois Walter (Don), and Gail Wright (Ed). As a proud grandmother, she leaves behind Meagan Miller (Cody), Anthony Ortiz (Samantha), Marissa McDonald, Mason McDonald, and Erin Ortiz, as well as step-grandchildren Nicollette (Justin) and Nicolas (Kori). Donna was also a great-grandmother to Eleanor and Margaret Miller and eagerly awaited the arrival of her new great-granddaughter, baby girl Ortiz. Born to the late Galen and Evelyn Weaver, Donna was the daughter-in-law of the late Owen and Melva McDonald and sister-in-law of the late Owen Horace (late Marilou) McDonald and the late Claude (Vivian) McDonald. She was a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
