Janet Lee Tietje (née Kathe), age 90, of Westlake, OH, entered into eternal life on January 6, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Janet was a woman of remarkable warmth, strength, and joy—described by her family as “sunshine in human form.” She did everything with purpose, unwavering positivity, and enthusiasm. Joseph “Jo Jo” Westfall, age 73 , left this earth for his heavenly home, on December 30th. He passed peacefully at home in the company of his loving wife, Annie. He was born on May 7, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio to Albert Leonard Westfall and Louisa “Lucy” Leisz Westfall. He was the youngest of 6 children. Robert D. Basalla, aged 67, of Parma, Ohio, born on December 3rd, 1958, passed away peacefully at home on December 29th, 2025. Beloved husband of Janet (nee Kleinhenz); loving father of Brandie (Mark Boltuc), Samuel, and Shannon; dear grandfather to Sophia Boltuc and Jonah; cherished brother of Donald (deceased). Robert was a multi-sport athlete, coach, umpire, and fan throughout his lifetime. He played in countless adult baseball, football and softball leagues and coached basketball and baseball for St. Mary Byzantine CYO teams for over a decade. Prior to his diagnosis with cancer, he spent his time watching his grandkids compete in sports. Robert also enjoyed playing and watching poker on television and would often discuss poker games at length. Roberta “Bobbette” Irene Reed Bailey. Born April 29th, 1938. Died December 13th, 2025 at the age of 87. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Reed, and her brothers Russell, Roger, and Ross (Joyce) Reed. Bobbette is survived by her brothers, Robert (Shirlene), and Randolph (Sarah) Reed. She was the beloved mother of James, John (Karla), Jeffrey, and Jerald (Kelly) Bailey. Grandmother to ten grandsons and four granddaughters, and Great Grandmother to ten and counting. She was graduate of Cleveland State University in Art Therapy. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and won several art competitions at the senior center when she resided in Columbus, Ohio. She also enjoyed sailing and was an avid world traveler. She was caretaker for her mother, Mary, for many years. April 22, 1936 – December 28, 2025 Milton James Anthony, 89, passed away on December 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Crestmont North Healthcare Nursing Home in Lakewood, Ohio. Milton was born in Ludington, Michigan, and spent most of his life in the Euclid, Ohio area. He was self-employed as a home repairman, a profession that was both his livelihood and his passion. In addition to his work, Milton greatly enjoyed golfing. He is survived by his three adult children: Mark Dancz of Whitehall, Michigan, and his children Meghan, Cameron, and Tessa; Delynn Dancz of Muskegon, Michigan, and her children Travis, Andrew, and Craig; and Greg Dancz of Big Rapids, Michigan, and his children Jacob, Gregory, London, and Phoebe. He is also survived by his brother, Marvin Anthony, and Marvin’s wife, Julia, of Ludington, Michigan. In accordance with Milton J. Anthony’s wishes, there will be no public or private services.

She had a deep and unwavering love for her family and friends and will be dearly missed by the many lives she touched. Caring, funny, and steady, Karen was someone others could always rely on. She was a beloved bus driver for Columbia Local Schools, where she took pride in caring for generations of students. Catherine (Cassie) Patricia Greer, age 73, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on December 16th, 2025, after a battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward, mother, Catherine, and sister Roberta. She is survived by her son Devin (Marybeth); her grandchildren Cooper, Chuck, and Carter, who were everything to her. Edward A. Libal, age 88, was born on February 26, 1937, and passed away on November 24, 2025. Edward proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force. His service reflected a strong sense of duty and commitment, values that guided his life. He was laid to rest with military honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, a final resting place befitting his service to the nation. Edward had no known surviving family. He will be remembered with gratitude for his dedication to the United States and for the life he lived in quiet service.
