THOMAS R. GARRITY age 85, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Beloved husband of Norinne (nee Bunn) for 50 years. Loving father of Darin (Jenna), Michelle Miller (Matthew), Timothy (Kari Suto), and Loni Solomon (Jeffrey). Cherished Papa of Riley, Connor, Cara, Leah, Blake, and Benjamin. CHRISTINA S. MEYERS (nee Brockway) age 65, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic on Saturday, May 30, 2020. She was a loving mother of Johnathon, and beloved sister of Marcia Brockway - Dlugoleski, Michael Brockway and wife Marcia, Timothy Brockway, and Douglas Brockway and fiance' Tatjana Schell. Preceded in death by her father Charles Brockway and mother Henrietta Brockway (Bradford), and an infant brother Andrew Brockway. Longtime data analyst for Davis-Besse / First Energy. She will be missed by many. No funeral services will be held, but a small family memorial will be observed. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice.

Glenn P. Perry, age 61, of Cleveland Ohio, passed away Friday, May 29, 2020. Born October 14, 1958, he was the son of the late Vernon and Genevieve Perry. Glenn is survived but his Children; Jason (Melissa) Perry, Corey Perry, and Shelby Perry. Grandchildren; Jason Perry Jr. , Ryan Perry, Skylar Perry, Nathan Perry and Angeleya Torres. Siblings; Donald (Barb) Perry, Ronald (Sharon) Perry, Jeanette (Dave) Coleman, Charlotte (Frank) Wilson, Gary Perry,Timothy (Lori) Perry, and numerous nieces and nephews. Step Children; Steve Medley, Tonya Medley, Jason Medley, Tiffany Valoven, John Valoven, and Anthony Valoven. Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Church of God 3150 W.58th Street Cleveland, Ohio 44102 at 12:00pm. Following prayer service at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.

Christine Mullin (Ellis) May22,1958-May 11,2020. Chris passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep at her home in Fairview Park. Chris is survived by her two beautiful daughters Andrea Kudrin and Jennifer Mullin and four amazing grandchildren Amya, Darius, Leena and Leea. Chris also leaves behind her four sisters Patty Erhardt, Sandy Britton, Janet King husband Jeff and Judy Ellis (Larry Gregg)Chris also leaves behind her special friend Red Hackett and her fur babies Sophie,Oliver,Reggie and Blaze Chris was Predeceased by her parents Jim and Helen Ellis, sister Kathy and Brother in law Dave Mannix. Emily June Conrad (nee Holub) passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 90. She was born on September 2, 1929, in the small coal mining town of York Run, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest of 13 children. After spending time in Cleveland, she and her second husband moved with their family to Hinckley in 1963 and called that their home for over 50 years. Emily was very social and outgoing. She loved people and would stop to chat with anyone. No one was a stranger to her. She loved the Lord, and church was a big part of most of her life. She was known for her famous stuffed cabbage rolls and nutrolls, which she would often be requested to bring to the many potluck dinners she attended. She was very thoughtful and giving and will be missed by many. For many years, she was very active and made numerous friends at the Medina County Senior Center, where she took part in things such as Bingo, pinochle, watercolor and crochet classes. Age 81, died suddenly on April 21, 2020 at his home. He was born June 22, 1938 in Cairo, Illinois. He called Cleveland his home for 59 years after coming to WKYC-TV to work as a film editor for NBC in 1961. A member of the news department for 39 years, he received an Emmy in the 70’s. Nick led an active creative life and spiritual life and was an inspiration to many. A self-taught photographer, he had his first exhibition at the age of 76 when his eldest daughter discovered his archived negatives from the 50’s. He loved photography, art, music, theatre, philosophy, theology, baking, and reading. He proudly served as a Deacon at Church of the Good Shepherd in Brooklyn, Ohio. He was married to Rita Ann Malaska for 50 years; beloved father to his three girls: Shari (John W Carlson), Tracey (John Canale), and Nicki (Anthony Lang, Jr.), Michael Wood and the late Timothy J Harry. Wade Shelton Smith, 82 of Cleveland, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020. Wade was born April 9, 1938 in Breeden, West Virginia to parents Mary Ellen (nee Williamson) and Gidian Smith (both deceased). He was a proud Veteran of the US Airforce. Wade was preceded in death by his wife Beverly (nee Schuerger). He was a proud and loving father to his daughters Nancy Hamilton (Lee), Cynthia Crucis (Michael) and Vicki Reagle (Randy). He adored his grandchildren Stephanie Alestri (Tim), Cristie Welch (Caleb), Jennifer Leffel, Megan Jarstfer (Andrew), Michael Leffel (Sara), Jessica Tipton (Matthew), Randy Reagle, Michael Crucis, Monica Medina, Mary Crucis and great grandchildren, Owen, Luke, Callie, Gianna, Levi, Audrey, Natalie, Casey, Lily, Benjamin and Mia. Dorothy Jean Hart, 95, of Main Street Care Center (Sprenger Health Care System), Avon Lake, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020, of Corona Virus 2019. Dolly was born July 5, 1924 to Mayme (Bailey) and George Albert Reimer, at Deaconess Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up on S Boone Road, in Columbia Station, Lorain County, graduating Columbia High School 1942 as an excellent student, cheer leader and musician. She worked that summer as a “Rosie the Riveter” at the bomber plant (todays IX Center), and then attended Bowling Green State University as a music major, and Oberlin Business School. Dolly married Robert Beckwith in 1944, living in Berea, Avon Lake, where she was active in the Avon Lake Players, and in Bay Village. The couple moved to Avon Lake in 1950, as her husband Bob went to work as a manager for his father, Fred Williams who owned Williams Ford of Avon Lake. She married her second husband Arthur Rogers of Elyria, proprietor of Rogers Photography Studio. Anita Louise Gray, age 73, passed away peacefully in her home April 10, 2020 due to natural causes (or the thought of not seeing the Cleveland Indians play this year…Thanks Corona). Anita was most known for her tenacity, lack of patience and providing her opinion whether or not it was asked. She always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. But her passion and love for her family and friends knew no bounds and taught strength and resilience to all those who knew her. She will be sorely missed and is survived by her brother Tom (Barb) Gray, her daughter Vickie (Brad) Burgess; son John (Allyson) Ferrara; three grandsons, Brody, Grant and Oliver; and many cherished friends, all of whom she loved and touched deeply. She was preceded in death by her love, Victor Ferrara and parents, Russell and Theresa Gray. She was most happy fishing, taking pictures, playing Scrabble or Wii Bowling and spending time with her grandsons who she adored.
