Bernard Thomas Ferris born May 28, 1939, passed away peacefully at his home in Cleveland, OH on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Bernie was the youngest child of Haman and Anna Ferris (nee Rosepiler) and was preceded in death by his brother Norman and sister Rita Bielozer. He is survived by his companion and love of 17 years, Maria Rivera, his sister Theresa Kassay and his son Scott, his wife Teri and their children Ryan and Madison. He was Papa to José, Luz(José), Zulma, Javier(Fatima), Arlene(Joseph) and Carlos and extended family. He was married to Jaqueline Ferris (nee Rauscher) for fifty years. Bernie was a beloved (favorite) uncle to his many nieces and nephews. In 2008, Bernie retired from the Cleveland Police Department after serving the public as a patrolman and detective for 44 years. In 1969, he was a founding member of the Cleveland’s Policeman Patrolmen Association. We are sad to announce the passing of JoAnn Wielkiewicz (née Badnoroski) of North Olmsted. She died at age 77 on July 16, 2022. JoAnn passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a battle with cancer. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wielkiewicz, her parents John and Elizabeth Badnoroski, her brother Johnny Badnoroski, granddaughter Elizabeth Wielkiewicz and grandson Michael Wielkiewicz. She is survived her five children Walter Wielkiewicz (Hilda), Keith Wielkiewicz, Leslie Ziegler (Jon), Jennifer Good, Janet Wielkiewicz, her grandchildren Melissa and Walter III Wielkiewicz, Kristina Taylor (Randy) and Adam and Emily Ziegler and great grandchildren Randall and Olivia Taylor. JoAnn also leaves behind one sister, Dolores Hollo. JoAnn was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Shortly after marrying Walter, she moved to Lakewood, Ohio to raise their five children. When she was well, JoAnn loved to visit with family, garden and decorate her home. JoAnn also had a passion for dogs and had many throughout her lifetime. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.

Clare R. Kaminski, 59, of Lakewood, OH, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2022, at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, OH, surrounded by her loving family. Clare was born on January 25, 1963, in Massillon, OH, to Joan (Scott) Molinelli and Richard Kaminski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ian Uttley, her brother, Mark Kaminski, and her stepfather, George Molinelli. Clare was a kind and loving daughter, sister and aunt, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Upon graduation from Central Catholic High School in Canton, OH, in 1981, Clare spent three years at Ursuline College studying Art Therapy. In her early twenties, she moved to Las Vegas, NV, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1985. Clare resided in Las Vegas for more than 27 years. Frederick “Rick” Peter Petrie IV, 63, of Cleveland, OH sadly passed away on July 3rd, 2022 due to heart failure. Son of the late Frederick Petrie and Noreen (Clough) Zakrin. Rick was born August 2nd, 1958 in Pensacola, FL and grew up on the West side of Cleveland. He graduated from Berea High School in 1978, and proudly served three years in the United States Army. He trained in the Philippines and was stationed in Oahu, Hawaii doing target acquisition and received an honorable discharge.
