MYLES, GARY GARY M MYLES, age 83, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, died on Saturday, October 12, 2013, at the Ames House in Westlake, Ohio due to complications from a stroke. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Alice and Meredith ("Old Man") Myles. He was married to Louise Myles for over 50 years, and was the proud father of: Craig (deceased) (Sherry), Cliff, Tina and Todd (Kary) Myles. He was also a doting grandfather to Lisa, Elyse, Aidan, and Jake.The owner of Myles Engineering in Cleveland, Ohio for over 30 years, which built performance racing engines for boats and cars, including dirt, sprint and super-modifieds. He is a member of the Lorain County Speedway Hall of Fame. During his retirement, he enjoyed RV'ing throughout the United States and spent the last 16 winters in North Fort Myers, Florida, enjoying the warmth and sunshine. A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at the Copper Cup, 680 Dover Road, Westlake, Ohio from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people make donations to The Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110-2602 {rscomments on}
