Aunt to 13 nephews and nieces and many others not related by blood. Charlotte loved life & being with family, and loved to tell stories of her youth. Her love for animals was abundant. She was never in her life without a pet(s). Charlotte was a good listener and always gave great advice. She was caring, generous & loved to laugh. Charlotte had a nature you could not help loving and a heart that was purer than gold. To those who knew and loved her, her memory will never grow old. ANGUS, JR., GEORGE L. GEORGE L. ANGUS, JR., 83, of Strongsville, passed away August 25, 2013. He was the loving husband of Janet for 60 years; dear father of Michael (Lissa); Kimberly Kelly (Bob Ainley); Kathy Broman; Donna O’Neill (Kathy Neil) and David (Heather); grandfather of Elizabeth, Jessica, Patrick, Ryan, Dillon, Jordan, Alex and Chase; brother of Marvin. His parents and sister, Barbara, preceded him in death. George and Janet married on August 22, 1953. After graduation from the University of Illinois, including a commission in the Navy, he served aboard a destroyer during the Korean War. His work years were spent in the printing industry. Most important to George were his God, his family and his friends. A quote from a life-long friend: “George was always optimistic and willing to assist friends and acquaintances in helping them, regardless of personal price and time. I have never known of anyone who was a greater example of these traits.” His interests were many: bridge, gardening, fishing, family vacations in Wisconsin, travel and reading.
