Nancy Ortiz (Momma) passed away September 16th, 2018 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, Ohio. Beloved mother of Teresa Long(Scott), Anita Tankersley(Chris Neer), Nancy Welch(Robert), and Michael Ortiz(Karen). Grandmother of Ashley Ortiz(Joe Wasielewski) who was raised my Momma, Steven, Andrew, Aaron, Kyle, Kayla, and Jacob Tankersley, Timmy Ortiz, Bella Hibler, and Mikey Ortiz. Great grandmother of Ashton and Tristan Tankersley. Momma also leaves behind her sisters Peg, Della, Lucy, Selma, and Susie as well as many nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania. Momma we love you and are so happy that you aren’t suffering anymore but, our hearts just hurt so bad. There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t think about you and you will forever be in our hearts. We will do what you asked Momma! We will stick together and work through our tears to “Miss You, But Let You Go”...

(Née Seifert), 50, of Cleveland Ohio, passed away suddenly on July 18, 2018 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James “Jim” Gilbert, whom she married on January 27, 1989, her children Sara Gilbert (Ian Hlavin) and Matthew Gilbert (Michael Wachowiak), brother Mark Seifert (Barb Seifert), step-mother Jeannette Long, uncle William Crocker, dearest friend Marlene Rochford, and countless others. Laura is preceded in death by her mother Marianne Seifert (Née Westerhoff), father William Seifert, and aunts Patricia Crocker (Née Seifert), and Audrey Behm (Née Westerhoff). Laura, a devout member of the congregation at Lakewood Baptist Church served as Minister of Family and Fellowship. She enjoyed the smell of lavender, cooking, creating and fostering young minds. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Family Ministries at Lakewood Baptist Church. A celebration of her life, 7PM, Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Lakewood Baptist Church, 14321 Detroit Ave. Lakewood. The family will be receiving friends and loved ones at 6PM at the church.

Anthony J. Esposito ASHTABULA – Anthony Joseph “Tony” Esposito, 87, died Monday, July 9, 2018 at ACMC. ​He was born August 23, 1930 in Ashtabula, the son of Felix and Josephine (Nappi) Esposito and had been a lifelong resident. ​A graduate of Ashtabula High School, he joined the U.S. Army and honorably served his country during the Korean War. ​ ​After the service, Tony went to New York City and joined the Johnny Long Orchestra and toured across the country in ballrooms and colleges. After three years with the Orchestra, Tony joined the Ralph Marterie Band, one of America’s top recording bands in the 1950’s. In 1956, Tony returned to Ashtabula to form his own band, the Tony Esposito Orchestra. Tony and the orchestra have been entertaining throughout the county for 45 years. Tony was also a member of the Ashtabula Symphonic Band, the Blues Project Band, and the Madison Jazz Band. John Vincent Jr. aka Johnny V passed away peacefully after a long term illness on June 15th, 2018, with his loving wife by his side. John went to be with the Lord at the age of 57, born September, 14, 1960. He was reunited in Heaven with his loving parents John and Gloria Vincent. Johnny V is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Joyce Vincent. Lovingly remembered by his 3 daughters, Rachel, Candice and Kelsi. Joseph Michael Pilko, age 61, was born July 10, 1956 and passed away May 22, 2018 after an eight month battle with brain cancer. He is survived by his wife Gina (nee D’Abramo) and his children Eric (Becki) and Lindsay. He was the proud grandfather of Aurelia and Coraline, and a beloved uncle and cousin to many. He is the son of Mildred and the late John Pilko, brother to Alan Studnicka, Christina Wolfe (Tony), Gerald (Gina) Pilko, and the late Mary Cruz. Joe was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He was married to Gina for 39 years. He devoted his life to his family, and enjoyed a satisfying career and many hobbies. The last 26 years of his career were spent at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, where he retired in 2016 as an IT manager. Joe was an avid fisherman who loved spending early mornings on a lake. JENNINGS, CATHERINE LOUISE Catherine Louise Jennings June 28, 1960 – March 14, 2018 Catherine Louise Jennings departed this life on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 and now rests in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. Catherine had many passions in her life including knitting, counted cross-stitch, gardening, and of course her dogs and cats. She also had a particular devotion to charitable causes that benefit children. She often taught classes in knitting and cross-stitch and she led efforts to provide clothing and school supplies for children in Haiti and Africa. Catherine was also the chief organizer of the 2005 Provincial Synod of the Original Province of the Anglican Catholic Church in Grand Rapids MI. Catherine is survived by her husband of 38 years, the Rev. Fr. Daniel Jennings, Rector of St. James ACC in Cleveland (OH), her father and mother, Howard and Patricia Sandel of Grand Haven (MI), her sister, Diana Smith of Wyoming (MI), her brother, Steven Sandel of Grand Rapids (MI) and several nieces and nephews.
